The NHL and NHLPA have concluded CBA negotiations with federal mediators in Iselin, New Jersey. A report from TSN says that no progress was made and that no further meetings have been scheduled.
Both sides met with mediators Scot L. Beckenbaugh and John Sweeney.
Mediation was used to try and gain traction toward working to a new CBA. Similar measures were used twice in 2005 with no success.
The current NHL lockout has reached its 75th day. Over 400 games have been canceled, including he 2013 Winter Classic and 2013 All-Star Game.
