The injuries are piling up already for the Detroit Red Wings.

Winger Jan Mursak injured his collarbone after getting hit by David Backes in last night's loss to the Blues. He is expected to be out for a few weeks.

Backup goaltender Jonas Gustavsson suffered a groin injury at practice today, and will not play Monday night.

With Mursak out, Drew Miller will likely move up to the third line, and Patrick Eaves will skate on the fourth line. Monday will be Eaves' first game since November 26, 2011.

General Manager Ken Holland said that the team has recalled goaltender Tom McCollum from the Grand Rapids Griffins to back up Jimmy Howard Monday night.

The Red Wings got a scare at practice when defensemen Jonathan Ericsson fell down and hit the boards awkwardly. Ericcson was able to get up under his own power, but reports say that his right shoulder was sore. If Ericsson can't play Monday, Brian Lashoff or Nathan Paetsch may get recalled if Jakub Kindl is still out with a groin injury.

Center Darren Helm skated with the team at practice today, but is still not likely to play before Friday.
